Prior to this I had to go to Wordtracker to get my keywords. Then use WebPosition Gold to view my onpage factors. Moving ahead I would turn to SEO Elite to find out who was linking to my competitors or manually use search modifiers and the link-domain command(link:www.website.com)….

In order to find pages that I could exchange links with I had to refer back to the search modifiers. You also had to keep an account of who you already emailed and to do this I had to use Microsoft Excel to keep tab on this.

Additionally, If I wanted to send email ask for a link exchange I would have to use SEO Elite to create a file with names and email to accomplish this.

Then it was on to using other resources to determine if the sites I was linking to were banned.

Now I’m back to WebPosition Gold to check to see how my rankings were looking. Do I need to tweak the tile tags or anything else?

This was just insane having to use all these tools. Not to mention, how time consuming it was going back and forth between them was a total waste of time.

I’m glad you asked. I had the same concern when I just started out

Simply put, Alexa collects data about your website based on other online users
on how often your site is viewed and ranks your site accordingly, and your site
is given a numerical value of how well your site is ranked among the millions
of other sites on the Internet.

To better understand this, the lower the numerical value for your website is, then
the higher you will rank….. (I know it sounds a bit controversial but so it is.)
